About the Speakers
Mr. Danny McFadden

Danny has worked for CEDR since 2004 both in London and Hong Kong. Dually qualified as a lawyer both in Australia and the UK. Involved in negotiation, conflict resolution training, mediation and international business for over 20 years.
Danny speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently and mediates regularly in Hong Kong, China and overseas using both English and Mandarin. Based Hong Kong he mediates commercial, family, employment, construction, succession and trusts, banking, insurance, and property sectors. An expert trainer in conflict management, negotiation, unconscious bias and mediation to organisations such as the UN, EU, ADB, IHG, IFC, IMF, World Bank and MTR.
Since 2010 Regional Mediator Asia Pacific for the World Bank Group. In 2009 Director of Mediation at the United Nations in New York. Teaches dispute resolution at Kobe University Japan and the International Peace and Dialogue Institute in Switzerland.

She is a member of:- Governing Board of Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation, Board of HK Mediation Accreditation Association Ltd, The Law Society of HK’s Mediation Committee, and Financial Dispute Resolution Centre’s Appointment Committee.
Some current prominent posts she holds include:- Chairlady of Joint Mediation Helpline Office, Chairlady of ADR Committee of HK Federation of Women Lawyers, Vice Chairlady of HK Society for Rehabilitation.& Crime Prevention, Council Member of HK Family Welfare Society, Vice President of the Guangzhou, HK, Macao Arbitration and Mediation Alliance, and Consultant Solicitor of Sit Fung Kwong & Shum.
