About the Speaker
Wilson Lui is an emerging scholar specialising in private international law (conflict of laws) and dispute resolution, particularly arbitration. He is a part-time Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong, and convenes courses in private international law and legal language. He has published five books, including Hong Kong Private International Law (Hart Publishing 2025) and Hong Kong Arbitration Ordinance (Cap 609): A Guide and Commentary (2nd edition, 2024). He holds master’s degrees from Cambridge and Oxford, and fellowships with AdvanceHE, HKIArb, and CIArb. He frequently speaks at international conferences, demonstrating expertise in both academia and professional arbitration practice.
